This is extremely common. This is one of the big reasons we do hair and makeup on site while serving snacks and wine to start. This helps get you acclimated to the location & helps loosen the nerves. We will always start with your most modest look & work our way towards the most erotic. Nerves are normal - and its okay!

But I don’t have anyone to do the session for…

For every bride-to-be who wants a special gift for her groom or wife who wants to gift her husband of 20 years something to spice things up - there are that many more who do not have a significant other & realize the benefit of empowering themselves through boudoir. The boost in self esteem from seeing your self how others see you is priceless & not saved for only those in relationships. A session can be to celebrate a weight loss goal you’ve accomplished, a divorce, a new hair color, to get out of a slump, or just for fun.

When booking a boudoir portrait session, a questionnaire will be sent to you to find out about you & your personality. Each portrait session includes up to 5 different looks. We will utilize each look to showcase themes & aspects of your personality.

What if I don’t have any makeup or am super picky about my makeup?

In continuation of the luxury experience, I have spent countless hours working with my hair & makeup artist to know exactly what styles of makeup works best for boudoir portraits. Do not feel any hestiation in putting your trust fully in me.

Where would we even meet to do the session?

Boudoir by Angelique is the best luxury experience that takes care of everything including deciding on the location that is the best for you. Upon booking, I will send a questionnaire to you to get all the information necessary to best plan your session. I have several locations to choose from that include both indoor & outdoor options. But don’t worry - I will plan it all for you!

How long should I plan to be there?

Boudoir sessions with Angelique are a luxury experience planned to make you feel special and relaxed. We are in NO rush. This day is planned all about you. Your hair and makeup will be done on site while snacks and wine are served. Plan on having your kids & husband entertained for the whole day just to be safe. A typical session day runs approximately 3 hours total but could run as long as 5 hours depending on our creative flow.
